SD204 Temperature Salt Depth Meter (CTD)
The SD204 basic temperature salt depth water quality analyzer can measure, calculate, and record parameters such as conductivity/salinity, temperature, depth (pressure), and sound velocity (water density) of seawater. According to user needs, the instrument can also be equipped with sensors for dissolved oxygen, fluorescence, and turbidity parameters. After the measurement is completed, the data is recorded in the physical memory built into the instrument and can be easily transmitted to the computer, allowing users to see the measurement results in real time. The SD200W software that comes with the instrument can not only be used for data transmission, but also has powerful data processing capabilities. This makes the performance of SD204 comparable to some large and expensive STD systems. SD204 can also be monitored in real-time online through cables, telephone lines, or artificial satellites.
By using vacuum forming technology, the electronic components and other components of the instrument are embedded in a high-strength polyurethane shell to ensure good waterproof performance of the instrument.
The switch of the instrument is controlled by a magnetic button or computer keyboard. The battery compartment can accommodate two replaceable C-type batteries, and the energy consumption of the instrument is very low. Under normal operation, the battery capacity can maintain continuous operation of the equipment for one year.
